David
H. DeBaugh, SPHR,
specializes in executive search, staffing and retention strategies,
workplace trends, labor and employee relations, union avoidance, and
gainsharing. He brings over 20 years' experience in human resources
and operations management, first with a Fortune 500 manufacturing company
and later as Vice President of Human Resources and a Board member with
one of the world's leading printing companies, and has consulted since
1994. Dave is a veteran of more than 30 rounds of labor negotiations,
15 union organizing campaigns, and has been the HR project lead on several
mergers and plant start-ups. Certified as a Senior Professional in Human
Resources, Dave earned a BA degree from Augustana College and pursued
his graduate studies at Birmingham-Southern College. Dave is active
in the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Human Resource Management,
and the Institute of Management Consultants. A frequent public speaker
and keynoter for trade association conferences, he is the author of
"Pay for Performance," published by the National Association of Manufacturers
in 1991.
